Orchid Spree is another of my non-distorting Chinese lattices, but with this one I wanted a border. So after drawing the lattice on the wrong side of the orchid fabric, I carefully cut out the full rectangle and saved the rest of the fabric. After piecing the center rectangle, I then inserted it back into the full fabric piece, so the outside border has no seams in it.
